GatedTalent Privacy Notice
GatedTalent is designed to put you in control of the way in which you manage your search for a new executive role or your future career aspirations. This notice sets out the way in which we, GatedTalent Limited, part of Dillistone Group Plc, will collect and use information about you in a way that is consistent with our responsibilities and your rights under relevant privacy law. Please read it carefully so that you understand how we will use your information.
Information that we collect about you
We have designed GatedTalent to give you transparency and choice about what personal information is collected and shared through the portal. Some information is necessary to enable us to register your account, but where possible we have established GatedTalent to enable you to be in control about how your personal information is shared with trusted third parties.
We may collect information about you in a variety of situations. In each case, we will collect the information that we need to provide the GatedTalent services and connect you to relevant executive recruiters. If you do not provide the relevant personal information we will not be able to register your account and manage your preferences through GatedTalent. You have the opportunity to provide as much or as little additional information as you chose, and to amend and update your information within your member profile at any time following registration so that you can continue to secure the most benefit from membership of GatedTalent.

We recognise that you want to manage and control who has access to your member profile, and therefore you can manage your preferences by masking certain data fields to protect your anonymity and by only completing fields you are comfortable sharing with recruiters. You can also refuse to connect to a recruiter and they will subsequently not be able to access any of your personal data. Using your information to keep in touch with you
We may use the information we hold about you in order to send you information about executive opportunities that we think may interest you. This is referred to as ‘direct marketing’. We only contact you by email for direct marketing purposes if you have specifically agreed to receive information in this way through your communications profile. You may change your communications profile at any time via your profile settings. We may also promote specific executive opportunities through targeted messages placed on your home page based on the information you include within your member profile.
Please note that, even if you choose not to receive marketing material from us, we will still contact you in the following circumstances:
Secure collection and storing of your information
All information that you provide to us, or we collect about you, is stored on our secure servers. We understand that this includes confidential information and we have put in place a range of suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your information.
You are responsible for keeping your user name and password secure to ensure the information remains confidential.
Our staff have limited access to your data, and are trained to ensure that it is protected, and kept secure.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
We do not store your information for longer than is necessary to provide the service, and to ensure that we have appropriate auditable records for business purposes. Your member profile will be retained for 2 years after you have disabled your account, in case you wish to re-commence the service.
You have the right to request from us access to your own personal information. This is sometimes known as a ‘subject access request’.

Many of the rights listed above are limited to certain defined circumstances and we may not always be able to comply with your request. We will tell you if this is the case.
You also have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for direct marketing. We will inform you if we intend to use your information for this purpose or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for this purpose. You can exercise your right to prevent us using your information in this way by adjusting your profile preferences.
If you choose to make a request to us to exercise any of these rights, we will aim to respond to you as soon as we reasonably can but no later than one month. We will not charge a fee for dealing with your request where this is received after 25 May 2018.

This privacy information notice is subject to the laws of England, and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. If you are domiciled in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland it can be enforced in your local court system.
