LinkedIn and Xing are both examples of social websites. They are public platforms where everything you do can be seen by your colleagues, your staff, your shareholders. Fundamentally, it is not a social network, nor does it operate like one. Our default settings will hide your name and contact details – and you have the option to mask other information that might identify you – such as your company or your title.

Which recruiters use the platform?

How will recruiters contact me?
If a recruiter finds you on GatedTalent, he or she will contact you through the platform and make a connection request. If you accept, your information will be shared. If you refuse, it will not. You can remove a connection at any time.
I don’t have a Resume / CV. How can I register?
Many of our members don’t have resumes – because most are not in an active job search. If you have one – great – we can use it to help you populate your profile. If you don’t, that’s fine too. We’ll ask a few questions about your background and experience plus your aspirations and you’ll be good to go!
Am I the right type of person for the platform?
GatedTalent is open to anyone. The reality is that our clients are typically working in positions with a salary in excess of $100,000. However, this will certainly vary by industry and territory. There is no minimum salary requirement.
What does it cost to register?
Nothing! You can create a GatedTalent profile entirely free of charge. However, we do recognize that many of our members are time scarce, and so we offer a premium onboarding service on demand. This sees us create a profile on your behalf based on the content of your resume (if you have one) or LinkedIn profile. The profile is then optimized around the roles that you wish to be considered for, ensuring that your profile is complete, focussed and reflects the criteria that recruiters in your sector typically search for. What other services do you provide to your members?
It is entirely free to create a profile on GatedTalent. This will allow our recruiter clients to search against your details and send you a connection request if they have an opportunity that they wish to discuss with you. If you accept a connection request, your contact details and full profile will be shared with the recruiter and they will be able to make contact with you directly. There is no charge whatsoever for this. However, with over 30,000 executives to be found in GatedTalent, some of our members choose to subscribe to a Premium Membership to increase their visibility, increase the likelihood of connection requests, and also to benefit from a range of other career-related content.
